All thermal insulation jackets from AK are cooperated in designing from the customers,
and the general materials are:
Inside – this layer contact directly with heated surface, and we normally use fiberglass
cloth (600 C) or silica cloth (1200 C) as our main materials – sometimes it depends on
customer’s requirements also
Middle – this layer is also important for protecting heat lost, so we regularly use both
rock wool and ceramic wool. Their thickness is between 0.25-2.00 inches (can be extended
to 8.00 inches)
Outside – this layer is shown outside on the top level; generally, it is fabricated by
waterproof fabric such as glass cloth with silicone coated or PTFE
(Polytetrafluoroethylene) to avoid water or fluid damaging insulating material
Note : our thermal insulation jackets can be changed to other materials by customer’s
suggestions and ideas to fit their applications and budgets.
